Speech-Language Pathologist Speech Therapy

Schedule: Days 8 hours M-F, 8 hr days - Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR.

Requirements: 1 year of SLP experience Required LTC or Rehab experience Required New Grads okay with Level II experience Required TX State License Required CCC certified SLP Required 3 years experience holding active CCS Preferred One reference at the time of submission

Roles & Responsibilities: Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate plans of care. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting in clinical records as required. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders. Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Document required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy.

Compliance / Notes: Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice. Participation in required meetings and trainings as necessary. Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed.
