As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being. Floating to other psychiatric units may be required dependent upon staffing needs.

Salary: $41.37 - $41.37/Hourly

Job Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:

• At least 6 months experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent required
• California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required
• BLS required
• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient
• Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal
• Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span
• Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication
• Knowledge of Drug administration
• Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior
• Knowledge of Evacuation, fire and disaster procedures
• Knowledge of HIPAA
