Business Banking Officer

- Contacts prospect/clients to establish new bank relationships through the selling of appropriate bank products.
- Contacts current clients to retain and expand present bank relationships by cross-selling bank products.
- Conducts daily sales meeting.
- Actively sells Westamerica's bank products/services.
- Monitors results of sales activities as outlined in current WAB Sales Culture Booklet.
- Determines training needs.
- Performs screening and interviewing of applicants.
Represents the bank in various civic and community activities in an effort to enhance the Bank's image and attract new business. Communicates Bank policies, programs, procedures, and sales information during staff meetings. Reviews and makes recommendations regarding branch budgets. Reviews and recommends staffing actions for branch sales personnel. Reviews delinquent loans and implements appropriate action to help correct situation.
