The Opportunity As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll be a key member of the maintenance team ensuring continuous operation of fully automated production lines. This role is built for technicians who can troubleshoot independently, diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures, executing PMs, and making decisions that keep production moving. You'll work 2nd shift alongside plant engineers and production teams in a facility that values technical ownership and rewards skill development.

What You'll Do

✅ Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults on automated production line equipment independently

✅ Diagnose and resolve electrical issues including 480V three-phase systems, motor controls, and low-voltage circuits

✅ Work with PLC-controlled systems to identify and clear faults on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms

✅ Execute preventive maintenance schedules on conveyors, motors, bearings, pumps, and automated production equipment and document all work in the CMMS

✅ Diagnose mechanical failures including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and drive systems with a structured root-cause approach

✅ Respond to line-down situations with urgency, understanding that every minute of downtime has a direct production cost

✅ Work safely within GFSI, GMP, and HARPC compliance standards in a food manufacturing environment

✅ Support equipment installations and modifications as the facility expands operations

Required Qualifications

✔️ 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

✔️ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including 480V three-phase systems and motor controls

✔️ Hands-on PLC experience on Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms (troubleshooting and fault clearing, not just awareness)

✔️ Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills covering conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and automated production equipment

✔️ Ability to work independently and diagnose problems using a structured process including schematics, fault history, and equipment documentation

✔️ Commitment to workplace safety and all applicable protocols

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Food or beverage manufacturing background

⭐ VFD experience

⭐ CMMS experience (any platform)

⭐ Forklift and scissor lift certification
