Maintenance MechanicLabcorp is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Raritan, NJ.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pmJob ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needsMaintain and repair MEP systems including, plumbing, electrical systems and HVAC componentsPerform general building maintenance such as painting, spackling, carpentry, and ceiling repairsComplete preventive maintenance tasks as assignedMaintain facility cleanliness and an organized workspaceTrack maintenance activities and repairs using CMMS and spreadsheetsConduct daily equipment rounds to monitor systemsRead and interpret technical drawings and schematicsParticipate in safety training and maintain required certificationsAssist with snow removal as neededCoordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors on projectsOrder parts and supplies as neededParticipate in on-call rotation and overtime as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2 years or more of maintenance experiencePreferred Qualifications5 years or more of maintenance experienceBlack Seal Boiler LicenseCFR 40 CertificationAdditional Job StandardsKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsExperience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Basic computer knowledge and data entry skillsStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionPay Range: $23.00-$30.00/hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
