We provide comprehensive training and onboarding, welcoming environment, and opportunities to grow with Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator.\n\nThe Life Enrichment /Activities Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, implementing, and evaluating the life enrichment and activities programming which provides for the optimization of resident physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being. Life Enrichment Assistants help bring to life Ebenezer's cornerstones: Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Spiritual Care, Wellness and Intergenerational Programming\n\nThis activities assistant schedule includes;\n\n casual / on call (help fill in for shifts ahead of time and for last minute needs)\n Day and early evening shift options\n must work minimum of 3 shifts per month\n\nResponsibilities\n\n Assists with life enrichment programs and activities:\n Leads social events and activity programs.\n Conducts exercise class for residents.\n Communicates and coordinates life enrichment programs with all departments.\n Assists other departments with special events and family functions.\n Documents as required.\n Offers suggestions and ideas to the Life Enrichment Director to improve the programming.\n Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents.\n Assists with the planning and execution of individual, small or large group outings outside the building, including assisting residents with boarding and deboarding from vehicles safely.\n Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents:\n Encourages resident participation.\n Reports change in resident attitude, mood, or physical status to appropriate staff.\n Promotes resident independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.\n Assists residents in developing relationships and effectively socializing\n\nRequired QualificationsPreferred Qualifications\n\n 5 years experience\n\nQualifications\n$16.78- $23.69 HourlyBenefit Overview\nEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
