About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endocrinology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required WI/Compact Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous clinical experience in endocrinology - Experience with charting systems - Ability to perform patient assessments and procedures - Knowledge of laboratory result interpretation - Skills in medication reconciliation and vital sign monitoring Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the outpatient clinic specializing in endocrinology. The nurse will work Monday through Thursday from 07:00 to 16:30 and on Fridays from 08:00 to 12:00. Responsibilities include providing nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will be required to manage approximately 30 patient visits per day. Job duties will include obtaining vital signs, performing venipuncture, and assisting with dressing changes. The role involves telephone triage and follow-up communications with patients. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams may be necessary. Candidates should have a strong understanding of endocrine disorders and effective patient communication skills. Compliance with infection control and safety protocols is expected. The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to provide compassionate care.
