Service Area – Kansas City, MO Shift Requirements after onboarding/training: Monday‑Friday 10:00‑19:00 (eligible for shift differential pay) Responsibilities Servicing MR/CT/MI equipment in the Kansas City, MO area, with level adjusted based on prior experience. Field‑based, customer‑facing role installing, servicing, maintaining and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. Acting as the face of Siemens to the customer. Supporting diagnostic modalities initially, with potential to cross‑train into other modalities. Being flexible and willing to work different shifts and on‑call rotations as business needs dictate, including overtime with advanced notice. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with the following and would like to develop your career with Healthineers. Knowledge and experience performing service, preventive maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. Previous experience with the desired diagnostic imaging equipment. Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers while performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately. Strong background working with electronics and proficiency in the use of service tools and test equipment. Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint). Required Skills Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment, able to work individually and in a team setting. Proficiency with necessary network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools). Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions. Seven or more years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments. Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive independently day and night, and a good driving record. Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs regularly and often over 50 lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, and good vision. Base Pay Range for this position: $58,240 – $80,080. Factors influencing starting pay include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Vendor Credentialing requirements: The role must have full access to Siemens Healthineers client sites.
