Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist , internally referred to as our Rad Tech or Diagnostic Radiology Tech, who is interested in training to be a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) . New graduates are welcome toapply!! ** Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal regulations. Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations. participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities Qualifications Education and Training Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
