And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionYour Responsibilities:ARCHITECTURE & TECHNICAL LEADERSHIPLead the end-to-end integration architecture across the order lifecycle — from proposal and quoting through order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, and billingDefine and govern the integration standard for all systems and platforms involved in order processing, ensuring consistency, scalability, and AI-readiness across the stackLead architectural decision-making for cross-system data flows, API design, event-driven patterns, and order decomposition logicEvaluate build-vs-configure tradeoffs across the platform landscape and guide those decisions with clear technical rationaleDELIVERY & PROGRAM EXECUTIONTranslate our requirements and program objectives into executable technical workstreams with clear ownership, sequencing, and dependency managementCoordinate development across internal engineering teams and external delivery partners, ensuring alignment on standards, timelines, and qualityOwn the technical backlog for integration and platform work — prioritizing ruthlessly based on program impact and dependency chainsIdentify and resolve integration risks, blockers, and conflicts before they become delivery problemsAI AUTOMATIONLead the design and implementation of AI agent capabilities embedded within the order management lifecycle — classification, routing, anomaly detection, and autonomous executionEnsure AI is designed into the foundation of the architecture, not layered on top — defining agent interfaces, observability requirements, and human-in-the-loop governance patternsPartner with data and analytics teams to ensure the data infrastructure required for AI training, monitoring, and continuous improvement is in placeGOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCEEstablish and maintain the technical governance model for order management integrations — including audit logging, compliance checkpoints, and data lineageIdentify and remediate compliance risks introduced by automation or system changes, particularly in approval, billing, and revenue recognition workflowsEnsure all integration designs meet SOX, data privacy, and export compliance requirements across regionsSTAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENTServe as the primary technical voice for the Order Orchestration program with senior business and IT stakeholdersCommunicate architecture decisions, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical audiences — translating complexity into business impactPartner with Finance, Legal, and segment leadership to ensure technical solutions align with compliance and commercial requirementsThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experienceAbility to travel domestically up to 15% of timeThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:Typically requires 8+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise systems integration experience, with deep hands-on expertise across multiple platforms in a large-scale, multi-segment environmentDemonstrated ability to hold full architectural ownership across heterogeneous system landscapes — not just one platform or layerStrong experience with API-led integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and enterprise middleware platformsExperience across CRM, CPQ, ERP, and order management systems — understanding how commercial and operational systems interact across the full order lifecycleTrack record of leading technical delivery in complex, cross-functional programs with multiple internal and external stakeholdersHands-on experience with Salesforce (CPQ, Sales Cloud, or equivalent), SAP ECC/CRM, MuleSoft Anypoint, and/or IFS CloudExperience designing or implementing AI agent workflows, agentic automation, or ML-powered classification and routing within enterprise systemsFamiliarity with SOX compliance requirements in the context of order approval, billing, and revenue recognitionBackground in manufacturing, industrial automation, or complex B2B selling environments with multi-segment product portfoliosExperience working with global delivery partners (Big 4 or equivalent) in a technical leadership capacityWhat We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision401kPaid Time offParental and Caregiver LeaveFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.To learn more about our benefits package, please visit at .At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
