Licensed Independent Behavioral Health Clinician Case Manager - MST or PST Preferred

Position Summary Clinical Case Manager – Behavioral Health. Full‑time, work‑from‑home role with standard business hours and one late day until 7 pm local time. No holidays. Requires a Master’s degree and an independently licensed behavioral health credential (e.g., LCSW, LISW, LMSW, LCPC, LP, LMFT, LMHC). Key Details Work from home Standard business hours One late day until 7 pm local time No holidays Master’s degree and independent behavioral health license required Role Overview The role uses advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to support members' physical and behavioral health needs through comprehensive assessment, care planning, provider collaboration, and coordination of psychosocial services. The clinician conducts in‑depth evaluations using clinical tools and plans benefits, develops strategies to reduce risk factors, and manages complex clinical indicators. They also perform crisis interventions, ensuring members are connected to appropriate treatment and receive timely follow‑up. Required Qualifications 3 years of post‑master's direct clinical experience in settings such as hospitals, ambulatory care, or outpatient facilities 3 years of experience with mental health and substance use disorders Ability to type and talk simultaneously for at least 3 years 3 years of experience using Motivational Interviewing and strong technological skills An active, unrestricted independent behavioral health license (e.g., LCSW, LISW, LMSW, LCPC, LP, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent) based on state regulations Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidate to reside in MST or PST zones Crisis intervention skills Managed care/utilization review experience Case management and discharge planning experience Education Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
