ABOUT THE ROLE

Small components, detailed instructions, and a finished product that has to work the same way every time.

Assemble medical-grade products and components using hand tools, power tools, and production fixtures. Follow detailed work instructions, engineering specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures to verify fit, alignment, and functionality.

The work involves repetitive hand movements and extended standing in a fast-paced production setting. You will handle components and products up to 30 lb while maintaining quality and accurate records.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Assemble medical devices and precision components to work instructions

- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures

- Read work orders, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation

- Inspect components and completed assemblies for accuracy

- Verify product fit, alignment, and functionality

- Identify defects and report assembly problems to supervisors

- Record production activity and quality information

- Follow GMP and work with production and quality teams to meet daily goals

WHAT YOU NEED

- High school diploma or GED

- Previous manufacturing assembly experience

- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring tools

- Ability to follow written work instructions and assembly procedures

- Manual dexterity for repetitive precision assembly

NICE TO HAVE

- Medical-device or cleanroom manufacturing experience

- FDA-regulated manufacturing, GMP, or ISO 13485 experience

- Electromechanical, mechanical, or small-parts assembly experience

- Lean manufacturing or 5S experience

- Basic quality inspection experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Stand for extended periods, frequently use hands for repetitive assembly, and lift and move up to 30 lb. Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to assemble and inspect precision components.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Clean medical-device manufacturing area with assembly workstations, precision components, hand and power tools, production equipment, and manufacturing noise. PPE is required and provided, and all plant safety procedures apply.
