Join our team as an Assembler in a shift assembly role from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Whether you are new to assembly or have 1-2 years of experience, you will be responsible for assembling and installing small components at a desk, with the flexibility to sit or stand throughout the day. You will perform quality inspections and work from assembly instructions, with training provided for reliable and eager candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install small components at a desk.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure high standards.
• Work from detailed assembly instructions.
• Assist in other areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and independence.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and tape measures.
• Understanding of assembly processes including mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must not be color blind as the role involves assembling different color wires.
• Independent and flexible to assist in other areas as needed.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled, well-lit warehouse environment, primarily involving sit-down assembly tasks.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudsonville, MI.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
