Make a meaningful impact supporting an elementary student as a full-time ASL Paraprofessional in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers a 32-hour workweek, providing a rewarding opportunity to work closely with one student and help foster their academic and personal growth.

You’ll play a vital role in facilitating communication and inclusion within the classroom, working collaboratively with teachers and educational staff. Bring your skills and expertise in American Sign Language to ensure the student’s success and engagement during the school day.

What You’ll Bring:

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role is highly valued
• Ability to work one-on-one with a student, providing focused and compassionate assistance
• Willingness to collaborate with educators and support team members
• Positive attitude, patience, and adaptability in an elementary school environment
• EIPA certification is not required for this role

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support a male elementary student by facilitating effective communication using ASL
• Assist with classroom activities and assignments, ensuring the student’s participation
• Encourage social interaction and engagement with peers and staff
• Adapt instructional materials under teacher direction to meet the student’s needs
• Help foster the student's independence and confidence within the educational setting
