Job Description

Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist (Contract)

Location: Rochester, New York 14642
Pay: $3,000 – $3,105/week

Schedule

Monday to Friday

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Prepare procedure room and sterile field for cardiac procedures
Assist in multiple roles: scrub, circulator, documenter/monitor
Operate and maintain equipment; anticipate procedure needs
Support interventions in Cath, EP, structural heart, and mechanical circulatory procedures
Maintain patient safety and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience
- Critical care or cardiac experience required
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo) and structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, etc.)
Licensure/Certification:
- RCIS (CCI) or meet NYS Public Health Law 2824 requirements
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
Additional:
- COVID fully vaccinated
- Strong organizational skills, ability to function in a fast-paced OR/Cath Lab
