Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) Cahokia, IL, United States | req29107 Responsibilities Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping order paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and grows, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and proficiency in reading and writing in English. Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, and a valid Class A CDL. Minimum age 21 years. Must have a hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire. No preventable accidents, license suspensions or moving violations in the past two years. No alcohol‑related convictions within the last ten years. Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Able to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
