Overview Retail Store Manager to join our team. Compensation ranges from $14.70 to $24.50 per hour with a lucrative monthly bonus potential based on store performance. Most stores open 9AM–6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Ability to earn unlimited commissions above hourly base rate. Vacation: one week after six months of active, full-time service; additional week after one year; 2 weeks on each anniversary thereafter; 120 hours after five years (adjusted per local requirements). Sick/Personal: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2–5); 24 hours after five years (adjusted per local requirements). Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and creating a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing store employees; recruiting and retaining top talent; maximizing financial goals and managing customer relations/satisfaction; promoting a customer-centric environment; and analyzing financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjustments are made as needed. The Store Manager will uphold asset protection programs, use marketing tools to promote the business, and target new customer acquisitions. Employees interact with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Pay is determined by location, qualifications, and experience. Reports to the area District Manager. Responsibilities of a Store Manager This is a representative list of duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed. Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly. Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels. Open/close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and loan security. Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans. Complete assigned tasks and self-development training as requested. Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and profit objectives. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) as required by law. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed and depend on business needs. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills; cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong work ethic and business sense. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit.
