Job Overview A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will manage commercial real estate transactions, providing comprehensive legal support from inception through closing. Duties Handle commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating key documents. Conduct due diligence reviews, analyzing title commitments, surveys, and environmental reports. Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related documents for various property types. Provide counsel on real estate development, land use, and zoning compliance. Advise on real estate finance transactions, preparing and negotiating loan documents. Support corporate transactions involving real estate assets, including due diligence coordination. Structure and document real estate joint ventures and ownership arrangements. Resolve real estate disputes through negotiation and litigation support. Collaborate with attorneys on real estate matters affecting mergers, acquisitions, and financing. Requirements 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions in a business law firm. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage complex projects with precision in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client service. Education J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice or eligible for admission to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
