Registered Dietitian Part Time

Dietitian Opportunity at Beechwood Health and Rehabilitation Center

Beechwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, a short-term rehab and skilled nursing facility located in New London, is seeking an enthusiastic full-time dietitian to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification/license in good standing.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents and staff to perform daily tasks.
