Role Overview Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures by setting up equipment, maneuvering transducers, and capturing high-quality images for interpretation. Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, maintains equipment functionality, and submits images promptly to PACS. Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust ultrasound equipment; perform routine and complex studies. Recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology. Report equipment issues and ensure proper functioning. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to regulatory standards and safety protocols. Assist with various imaging procedures as needed. Qualifications And Skills Completion of a Sonography program; no experience required. Valid registration as a sonographer (RDMS, RVS, or RVT) with appropriate specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and reach frequently; ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Strong attention to detail, communication, and safety awareness. #J-18808-Ljbffr
