Job Title: Adolescent RN - Psych - Travel


Location: Louisville, KY


Pay: $2,041.20 weekly


Shifts: 12-hour shifts, every third weekend


Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Adolescent RN specializing in Psychiatric care for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This is a dynamic and challenging role focused on adolescent mental health in a high-acuity inpatient environment. Candidates should be ready to adapt to different units within the facility and perform in a supportive yet demanding setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Adolescent RN

• Provide comprehensive care to adolescent patients, ages 14-18
• Utilize deescalation and soft skills to manage patient behaviors
• Administer IM injections and manage emergency situations
• Recognize and proactively address increased patient agitation
• Coordinate care in high-stress, high-acuity environments
• Support with physical holds, verbal deescalation, and, when necessary, seclusion or mechanical restraints
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and the security team

Requirements of the Adolescent RN

• BLS and CPI certification (obtained on-site)
• Minimum six months of experience in a similar role
• Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Omnicell systems
• Familiarity with managing and documenting seclusion and restraint events
