Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Saint Helena, CA. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,763-$1,894 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,763-$1,894 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Short-term acute care hospital (travel assignment) Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for adults on the Med Surg unit according to established standards of care and the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop and modify care plans as needed Administer medications and treatments; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and supervise a range of nursing staff while promoting a safe, healing environment Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure accurate, timely communication with the treatment team Requirements Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) Experience: At least two years of recent Med Surg experience Certifications: BLS and ACLS/ARC-ALS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required; CPR/BLS per policy Education: BSN preferred Additional: EPIC experience required; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting on a night-shift schedule Benefits and Support 13-week contract as a travel assignment Guaranteed hours and a structured night-shift schedule Travel-oriented placement with dedicated support throughout the assignment Credentialing and orientation assistance as needed for EPIC and unit processes Access to recruiting support during the assignment PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
