Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, Monday through Friday contract position offers the chance to provide compassionate, meaningful instruction and interventions in an engaging school environment located near White Rock, NM.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license (required)
• Experience working with K-6th grade students, particularly in ASD settings
• Strong classroom management and IEP development skills
• Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Passion for creating inclusive and adaptive learning environments
• Previous experience in a similar elementary special education role is highly valued

What You'll Do:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to elementary students with ASD, supporting their unique learning styles
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education staff to facilitate inclusion and support academic as well as social-emotional growth
• Partner with families, specialists, and administration to ensure student progress and advocacy
• Maintain organized records, monitor student performance, and adjust interventions as needed
• Contribute to a positive school culture by fostering dignity, encouragement, and growth for each child
