Overview :
We are looking for an Industrial Electrician III who troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.
Duties :
- Preventive Maintenance: Providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and supporting equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis will help maintain operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Your proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance will ensure that equipment operates smoothly and meets applicable codes and standards.
- Team Support and Training: By instructing and coaching others, you'll foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams will drive enhancements in quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
Qualifications :
- At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years’ experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NEC and IEC (National Electrical Code and Industrial Electrical Code) is required along with training, authorization, and certification in 70E.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting skills of PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, CNC, automation, and Robotic controls is required
