Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' speech-language needs for the upcoming school year. This position, beginning October 14th through the end of the academic term, is ideal for those with a passion for making a difference in children's communication and educational journeys. The role offers the chance to work in a collaborative school environment near Buffalo, MN, serving a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY candidates welcomed)
- Prior experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based speech-language services
- Competence in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy for school-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff, parents, and support teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills in accordance with district and state requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
- Provide therapy sessions individually or in groups, targeting educational success and communication growth
- Document progress and participate in team meetings and IEP development as appropriate
- Offer support, resources, and guidance to teachers and family members involved in the students' progress
