Senior Project Manager | Multifamily & Commercial Construction – Boise, IDGround-Up | Project Oversight | Team Leadership | Client InterfaceA well-established general contractor is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager with California building experience, to relocate to Idaho and oversee large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects in the Boise area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of construction operations—from budgeting and scheduling to client communication and team supervision.*Will be required to travel to CA a few times a month to oversee current projects*Key Responsibilities:Provide full project leadership from preconstruction through close-outOversee cost, schedule, quality, safety, and project status across multiple jobsNegotiate subcontracts and major purchase orders; manage change orders and RFIsBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, partners, consultants, and regulatory agenciesDevelop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction methodsEnsure project profitability and mitigate risk through proactive managementLead internal teams and mentor project staff, fostering a high-performance cultureImplement reporting procedures and ensure contract complianceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field5–10+ years of experience managing commercial or multifamily construction projectsStrong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordinationProficient in Microsoft Project, Procore, and other PM toolsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsStrong grasp of construction documents, change management, and dispute resolutionPreferred Experience:Ground-up multifamily or mixed-use experienceFamiliarity with project management systems and field reporting toolsIf you're a results-driven builder looking to step into a visible leadership role with project ownership and client engagement, we'd love to connect!
