Data Entry Specialist 507 W 145th Street, New York, NY, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1162 Job Summary: Under the direction of the SOR Coordinator, the Data Analyst (DA) manages and ensures the timely collection and submission of OASAS (Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services) documentation from SOR CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate) staff. In addition to these duties, the DA role includes managing reassessment timelines, generating monthly reports, and performing traditional data analyst tasks such as data cleaning, analysis, and presentation of findings. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with multiple teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery of essential documentation. The DA is responsible for periodic on-site visits to programs where CRPAs are assigned to review documentation and train staff in data collection. Primary Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collect and organize OASAS documentation from CRPA staffin accordance withregulatory requirements and internal procedures. Ensure all documentation issubmittedon time and accurately. Track andmaintainrecords of all OASAS submissions to ensure compliance. Communicate reassessment timelines to CRPA staff and ensure adherence to deadlines. Track reassessment statuses and send reminders to staffregardingupcoming or overdue assessments. Generate and distribute monthly reports on OASAS documentation status, reassessment progress, and other key metrics. Analyze trends andidentifyareas for improvement in documentation collection, submission processes, and reassessment timelines. Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Use statistical software and tools to generate meaningful insights from the data. Create dashboards and visualizations to present findings clearly and effectively. Prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations based on data analysis. Perform multiple administrative duties at sites where CRPAs are assigned. Perform otherduties asassigned by the management team. Qualifications/Criteria/Education: High School Diploma/GEDrequired, College Degree preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience as a data analyst or in a similar role with a focus on documentation and reporting. Proficiencyin data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Experience with healthcare or substance abuse-related data is a plus. Strong understanding of OASAS regulations and documentation requirements preferred. Familiarity with CRPA roles and responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the healthcare or social services fields. Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, phone, and computer skills.
