Registered Nurse Operating Room

$2570.40/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients pre-operatively to assess their medical history and readiness for surgery.
  
  
• 
  Prepare the operating room by sterilizing equipment and setting up surgical instruments.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care activities accurately in medical records.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-operative care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
  
  
• 
  Valid CPR/BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  ACLS certification preferred.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.
