Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)Seeking dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure a seamless patient experience in the emergency department.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients in the emergency setting.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Manage and prioritize patient care for both adults and pediatric patients.Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to implement care plans.Participate in triage and manage emergency holds for patient admissions.Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health care needs.Adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols in the emergency department.QualificationsCurrent RN license and BLS certification required.ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required; ENPC and NRP are a plus.Experience working in an emergency department is essential.Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Work EnvironmentFacility includes a total of 33 beds, with separate adult and pediatric areas.An estimated 70-85 patients are treated daily, emphasizing a diverse range of diagnoses.Staffing ratios are approximately 1 RN to 4 patients.Shifts include day, mid, and night options, with weekend and holiday requirements.Additional InformationUnit/department-specific orientation will be provided to prepare for independent functioning.
