MIG Welder Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour and up, based on experience
Location : Walton, KY
MIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to weld heavy and light steel pipe, including galvanized and powder-coated materials
- General math skills required
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to assist with fence installation, lot duties, and customer service as needed
- Ability to work in jeans, t-shirt, and work boots
As a MIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform MIG welding on heavy and light steel pipe
- Weld galvanized and powder-coated materials according to specifications
- Read and use a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements
- Operate power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
- Assist with fence installation when needed
- Perform general lot duties
- Assist customers as needed
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete additional duties as assigned
- Monday-Friday schedule with consistent daytime hours
