Travel Clinical Staff Educator - Surgery - $2,920 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Educator for a travel nursing job in Hermiston, Oregon.

Job Description & Requirements

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Equivalent experience and national certifications may be considered in lieu of a BSN with approval from the Vice President of Nursing and a commitment to obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire .
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) strongly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hospital nursing experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
• Experience with computer applications, word processing, and internet use required.
• Experience developing and delivering clinical education programs preferred.
• Experience teaching adult learners and evaluating learning outcomes preferred.
• Experience using simulation manikins and simulation software preferred.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Staff Educator preferred.
