Laboratory Technician

About the Role We are seeking a full‑time Laboratory Technician responsible for performing laboratory testing in accordance with SOPs while ensuring all safety and quality guidelines are followed and production requirements are met. Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs. Carry out all scheduled calibrations, standardizations, and SPC tests. Maintain and perform routine maintenance of testing instrumentation. Complete all required paperwork to track tests and their validity. Load data for tests performed. Maintain a clean, safe work area. Accurately record personal production and meet production requirements. Route samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs. Store and dispose of samples properly. Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies, as well as ISO 17025 lab accreditation requirements. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time, as required. Required Qualifications High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred. Working knowledge of good laboratory practice. Comfortable in a high‑paced production environment. Physical Demands The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working. Ability to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co‑workers and managers. Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware. Average vision and ability to read reports and operate equipment. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
