Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialty Newburyport, MA. The healthcare provider will deliver critical care services in an intensive care setting, supporting patients with complex medical needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, 36.0 hours per week, with every-other-weekend requirements; occasional day shift coverage may be requested in advance.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Massachusetts (MA) license at the time of submission
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Two or more years of ICU experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior travel experience
  • Prior Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
  • Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record (Epic)
• Additional Information:
  • Unit type includes telemetry, medical-surgical (telems), and ED holding support; the role may require floating to these areas
  • Patient diagnoses may include congestive heart failure (CHF), respiratory failure, kidney failure, post-operative care, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and sepsis
  • 1:2 patient ratio expectations
  • BILH coversheet required at the time of submission
  • Separation requirement: separation from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing is required to be considered
