Job Summary:

All About Kids, Inc. is seeking a highly dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team of professionals in Yonkers, NY. As a SPED teacher, you will play a vital role in providing individualized education and therapy services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Our team at All About Kids is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our young clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities

• Provide early education and therapy services, including speech, occupational, and physical therapy

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify developmental delays or disabilities

• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early intervention and special education

Requirements

• MA/MS and New York State Teaching Certification (SPED) in any one of the following areas:

  • Special Education Permanent Certificate

  • Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2

• In-Person availability (sorry, we are not hiring virtual/teletherapy at this time)
