R&D Machinist

Oratomic is on a mission to build the worlds first fault-tolerant quantum computer.

We are hiring an R&D Machinist to make custom parts for our quantum computers. Youll work from engineering drawings rough sketches or conversations with the scientists and engineers who need the parts. Youll figure out how to make them program and operate the machines and see each part through to completion. Youll be responsible for our in-house machining equipment and coordinate with outside machine shops when needed. Were looking for someone who enjoys precision machining likes working on a wide variety of one-off parts and wants to understand how their work fits into the larger system. Youll work closely with a small team of scientists engineers and technicians.

Compensation:

• $150000-$250000/year depending on experience

• Benefits (health and dental coverage 401K unlimited PTO paid family leave visa sponsorship)
