Position OverviewBright Tomorrow Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist with a focus on mood disorders to join our dynamic team. This full-time position operates in a predominantly remote setting, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a significant impact on our patients' mental health and overall well-being. As a member of our collaborative team, you will utilize your expertise to conduct assessments and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions to those affected by mood disorders.

Work EnvironmentIn this remote role, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while joining a tight-knit community of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms in clients dealing with mood disorders, ensuring a clear understanding of their challenges.
- Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and goals, tapping into strengths and resources.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address and manage mood disorders.
- Provide educational resources and ongoing support to both clients and their families regarding various mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.
- Diligently monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to the therapeutic approach to optimize outcomes.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary approach by collaborating with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each client's needs.
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain critical, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development programs to sharpen clinical skills and keep informed of best practices.
- Advocate for clients to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and to promote the importance of mental health care in the community.
This role specifically targets individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work closely with a varied demographic, navigating cultural differences and challenges that may affect mental health, ensuring that care is tailored and effective.
Qualifications- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorder therapies is preferred.
- Proficiency in evidence-based modalities like CBT and DBT.
- Strong foundational knowledge in psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated history of successful patient outcomes in treating mood disorders.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience.
