As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of STNAs and non-licensed personnel, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Functions:Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelinesProvide discipline and evaluations of assigned STNAs and other nursing personnelMeet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activitiesCharting and Documentation:Complete and file required recordkeeping forms or charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or dischargeEncourage attending physicians to review treatment plans, record and sign orders, progress notes, etc.Medication Administration:Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physicianVerify resident identity before administering medicationEnsure that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another residentPersonnel Functions:Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.Provide feedback and recommendations for probationary and annual employee performance evaluations for STNAsLead, educate, counsel, and discipline assigned STNAs, as necessaryNursing Care Functions:Review resident care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being renderedInform the Nurse Supervisor and/or Unit Manager of any changes that need to be made on the care planPeople-Centered Rewards:Health benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision401k with company matchEarly Pay via Tapcheck!Employee Perks & Discount program via NESPTO + Company Holidays + Floating Holidays$Referral Bonus Program$Mentorship ProgramsInternal/Upskilling Growth OpportunitiesContinued Education Loan Repayment Program powered by Clasp
