Core Competencies 10+ years of experience in a senior trading or trading-adjacent role with a deep focus on OTC derivatives (e.g., IR Swaps, FX Forwards/Options, Structured Products). Experience building a crypto derivatives trading desk or leading trading-related infrastructure projects from the ground up. Past experience leading large-scale regulatory or infrastructure projects for a trading business is strongly preferred. A strong, practical understanding of the entire derivatives trade lifecycle, market microstructure, and the day‑to‑day realities of a trading environment. Deep familiarity with derivatives legal frameworks (ISDA/CSA) and the regulatory landscape for derivatives trading. Demonstrated experience working effectively across multiple departments (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology) to deliver complex projects. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to dive deep into details (like reporting requirements) while maintaining a strategic perspective. Experience in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets. A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline is highly preferred. Relevant FINRA registrations (Series 7, 63, 24) are a strong plus. Technical Skills Drive: Deep, practical derivatives trading expertise: 10+ years of experience in a senior trading or trading‑adjacent role with a deep focus on OTC derivatives (e.g., IR Swaps, FX Forwards/Options, Structured Products). A strong, practical understanding of the entire derivatives trade lifecycle, market microstructure, and the day‑to‑day realities of a trading environment. Deep familiarity with derivatives legal frameworks (ISDA/CSA) and the regulatory landscape for derivatives trading. Experience in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets. Build: Experience building a crypto derivatives trading desk or leading trading‑related infrastructure projects from the ground up. Past experience leading large‑scale regulatory or infrastructure projects for a trading business is strongly preferred.
