Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing a diverse range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance clinical outcomes. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and supervision meetings to remain current on advancements in the mental health field. \n
Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals and families, many of whom may have limited access to mental health services. You will address a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship issues. Your work will help to bridge gaps in care for populations facing socioeconomic barriers, fostering resilience and recovery in their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. \n
- An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is essential. \n
- At least two years of professional counseling experience is required, preferably in a clinical setting. \n
- A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the field of mental health is crucial for this role. \n
