Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN!

Job Description:

- Position: RN - ICU
- Shift: 17:00 - 05:30
- Number of Positions: 2
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Weeks: 91

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional patient care in a critical environment
- Monitor hemodynamics and manage ventilators
- Perform various procedures including:
- Central Line placement
- Intubation
- Thoracentesis
- Chest Tube insertion
- Manage CRRT, ICP, EVD, and TPN/PPN
- Utilize equipment such as:
- Vents
- Swans
- CRRT machines
- Balloon pumps and impellas (occasionally)

Unit Information:

- Number of Beds: 14
- Staff: 26 (Day Shift: 1 CN, 4 RNs / Night Shift: 1 CN, 4 RNs)
- Patient Ratios: Generally 2:1
- Equipment: Vents, pumps, Swan ganz cath, Pacemakers, Hemodialysis setup, Central Line Setup/Insertion

Requirements:

- Must have ICU experience and pressure drip knowledge
- Positive attitude and a go-getter personality
- Required Certifications:
- RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- Experience with Meditech charting and Nitric Oxide is a plus

Dress Code:

- Scrub Color/Attire: Navy Blue
- Weekends: Every other weekend
