Registered Nurse | LTC specialty | Honolulu, Hawaii, US
Travel - Temporary Assignment starting August 3, 2026 for approximately 13 weeks in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,564 to $1,717 per week. Guaranteed hours 32 per week. Shift: Rotating. This assignment requires active Hawaii RN licensure prior to start and may include weekend work as needed. Typical schedules feature rotating shifts with about 40 hours per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of changes in condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including IVs and injections, within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, wound care, and vital sign monitoring; respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain thorough and accurate charting in the electronic health record and ensure proper handoffs during shift changes.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and proper use of medical equipment; educate patients and families as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start of contract
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
- Willingness to work in a travel temporary assignment within a short-term acute care hospital
- Minimum scheduling expectation aligns with rotating shifts and 40-hour weeks when possible
- Prior clinical experience in long-term care (LTC) and acute care settings is desirable
