Forklift Operator - 1st Shift Salina, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is looking for a 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our team in the Material Handling Department at the Salina Construction Equipment (CE) Facility .
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide safe movement of parts to required staging areas or locations.
- Ensure correct part identification and delivery to correct location is a must to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment used.
- Ensure paperwork from vendors is accurate.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Must have forklift license or ability to obtain one
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
- Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
- Ability to use and understand AS400 software
- Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
