Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a designated stroke unit while floating between various units as needed. The RN will manage neurological conditions and post-surgical care for telemetry patients.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
Monitor telemetry readings and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to standardized protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
Utilize the NIH scale to assess and document patient conditions.
Provide post-operative care for neurosurgical patients, ensuring optimal recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN, preferably in neurology or telemetry.
Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is required.
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, telemetry, and craniotomy care is preferred.
