Immediate Hire – Short or Long Shifts, Your Choice Drivers typically average over $20/hr (Wage + Tips + Mileage reimbursement). Mileage reimbursement, tips paid daily, hourly wages paid out every other Friday. Flexible Scheduling Part time and Full time hours available – Work the shifts that work for you! About the Job The role offers an adjustable mileage reimbursement to cover fuel costs and other auto expenses if using your own car. Alternatively, a company‑provided vehicle may be used, provided you are at least 21, have a clean driving record, and a minimum of two years of driving history. Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass a background check and hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (subject to review of the Motor Vehicle Report). Must possess a reliable vehicle and valid insurance. Must have good navigational skills and be able to read/follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, to deliver products. Must possess the ability to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and well with others, work well under stress, meet strict quality control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product or distributing flyers and door hangers. Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside – in‑store temperatures range from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Fumes from food odors, including exposure to cornmeal dust. Compact work areas, including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools, including ovens reaching 500 degrees or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Physical Duties & Requirements Including but not limited to: Walking/Carrying/Climbing Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer’s location. During delivery, the driver must carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties. Navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required. Driving Use safe driving practices to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Delivery drivers may make several deliveries per shift. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; upward, downward, and forward. Workers reach above 72 inches occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones. Hand Tasks Eye‑hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequent activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven and when using the rolling cutter. Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Team members must be able to grasp cans, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes. Sensing Talking and hearing on the telephone. Depth perception as well as near and mid‑range vision required for most in‑store tasks. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Far and night vision required for driving.
