Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting exceptional students in specialized learning environments. Two contract opportunities are available for passionate Special Education Teachers to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) in innovative programs serving elementary and middle school students with unique needs.

At the setting 4 middle school program, you’ll teach students in grades 6–8 with developmental cognitive delays. Some students use wheelchairs or demonstrate mild behavioral needs, requiring creativity and compassion. Your expertise will create a nurturing classroom that celebrates each student’s strengths and fosters growth.

The setting 3 opportunity offers a smaller elementary school caseload (6–9 students) identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD). Your dedication will equip them with vital academic, social, and daily living skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching license for the appropriate grade level (please include your license number with your application)
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with significant disabilities, including those with physical needs or behavioral challenges
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
