Delivery Driver - Medical Equipment

Service Rep LtcThe Service Rep LTC performs routine delivery of oxygen and equipment in a professional, safe, and timely manner. This includes accurate recordkeeping, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT/FDA/OSHA/Lincare safety standards.Job FunctionsMakes oxygen deliveries (liquid oxygen, cylinder, and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by customer base and Lincare routing system Deliveries may include refilling reservoirs with liquid oxygen from a truck mounted tankPerforms minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the facility and at the center For equipment repairs requiring other than minor repair work, equipment is to be packaged for shipment to the manufacturer or their designeeResponsible for equipment maintenance per schedule recommended by the manufacturerMaintains company vehicle in clean and orderly manner Makes daily inspections and completes proper paperworkMaintains established preventative maintenance scheduleCleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with Lincare policies and proceduresMaintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage areaFollows FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testingFollows Lincare policies as indicated in the operations manual and training manuals, including those found in the Safety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (includes adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency PlanningWorks as on-call service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis Frequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibilityMust respond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call ReportMay serve as a backup for other employeesOffering $15.00 - $20.00 per hourEducationHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationMust be 21 years of ageLicenses and CertificationsMust have and maintain a valid driver's license, RequiredLincare offers employees a variety of competitive benefits that include ongoing training and advancement opportunities.
