The Pines in Placerville is seeking a dedicated PTA to join our **supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team**. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and are committed to helping residents achieve their highest level of independence, we’d love to meet you.### ### **About the Role**As a **Staff PTA**, you’ll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery. This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting.### **What You’ll Do*** Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist* Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning* Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention* Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings* Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use* Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed### **What We’re Looking For*** Licensed **Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)** in California (required)* Associate degree from an accredited PTA program* Strong teamwork and communication skills* Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred* **New grads encouraged to apply!*** Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus* Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care### **Why Choose The Pines?*** Competitive pay: **$40–$50/hr - DOE*** Supportive leadership and a truly **team-focused environment*** Opportunities for **career growth and development*** A workplace culture built on collaboration, respect, and quality careAt The Pines, you’re more than just a team member—you’re part of a community dedicated to improving lives every day.
