Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Watch in Fontana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovative service. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations. Support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing trailer, freight, and vehicle movement, reporting suspicious activity, and following post orders for security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A current guard card and/or license is preferred, as applicable. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
