Job Title: Mortgage Company Assistant

Hours/Week: 40

Starting Salary: Competitive based on experience

Job Description :
The Mortgage Company Manager is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Company Manager by providing office services, such as implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies and monitoring administrative projects.

• Coordinate mortgage related activities with parties involved in the transaction as needed
  
• Keep all parties informed and involved during the loan transaction and perform follow ups
  
• Prepare and review loan request papers to ensure completeness
  
• Complete transactions between loan establishment, borrowers, and sellers upon approval of loan
  
• Ensure loan files are complete and organized
  
• Provide information by answering questions and requests
  
• Interview loan applicants to elicit information
  
• Investigate applicants’ backgrounds and verify references
  
• Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years experience in the mortgage industry
• Loyal, honest and a hard work ethic
• Professional demeanor and friendly personality
• Well organized, detail-oriented, thorough, conscientious and accurate
• Proven time management skills with ability to prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Willingness to adapt to new responsibilities
