ON-SITE - Glendale/Burbank, Orlando, NYC, or Seattle IT Asset Management Engineer / ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB ServiceNow certification is a requirement 7+ month W2 (ONLY) contract - No C2C, 1099, 3rd Party, or Sponsorship 4 days onsite (in Glendale/Burbank, Orlando, New York or Seattle) and 1 day remote Rate: $80 - $88 ServiceNow Experience 3-5 years in ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) IT Operations Management ServiceNow Discovery capabilities ServiceNow certification is a requirement CMDB and Discovery Expertise Understand how to build and manage a CMDB. Have hands-on experience with ServiceNow discovery tools and capabilities. Asset Management Experience - at least one of: Software Asset Management (SAM) Hardware Asset Management (HAM) While expertise in both is not required, familiarity with one was considered important. Integration Knowledge How integrations function within ServiceNow. Maintenance and management of those integrations. In depth functional knowledge can be taught, but foundational understanding is necessary. Here Is a Summary Of The Job Description. This role will primarily operate within the ServiceNow ecosystem (Software Asset Management (SAM) Enterprise Initiative) Will support the implementation and expansion of ServiceNow Software Asset Management Enterprise Will be helping stand up and mature the platform Supporting ongoing project-related work Data Quality & Platform Improvements = Performing data quality analysis and remediation Recommending improvements to platform configuration and processes Asset Management Expansion = Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Managing discovery tools Supporting integrations within the ServiceNow environment The candidate will be expected to remain focused largely within the ServiceNow asset management space. Required Skills = ServiceNow ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) IT Operations Management ServiceNow Discovery capabilities CMDB and Discovery Expertise Understand how to build and manage a CMDB Hands-on Experience With ServiceNow Discovery Tools And Capabilities Asset Management experience > Software Asset Management (SAM) or Hardware Asset Management (HAM); while expertise in both is not required, familiarity with one is considered important Integration knowledge > how integrations function within ServiceNow Maintenance and management of those integrations Some functional knowledge can be taught, but foundational understanding is necessary Certification Requirements = ServiceNow certification is a requirement Certified System Administrator (CSA) is preferred Any ServiceNow certification that meets platform team requirements is acceptable The platform team requires developers and ServiceNow personnel to hold at least one ServiceNow certification Collaboration Expectations = Although the position contains technical engineering responsibilities, it is not purely independent work Participate in stakeholder meetings Work with business segments as the asset management program expands Help bring additional device inventories and environments into the system Communicate with various stakeholders as part of implementation efforts This need for stakeholder engagement is one reason the role is classified as engineering rather than purely development-oriented work. The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/hr - USD $88.00/hr.
